X Leon Bullens a.k.a. ZICE shoe collaboration

"The Tyler" is a Kinamania limited edition collaboration with gifted 12-year old Belgian illustrator, Leon Bullens, aka Z.I.C.E. 

I had in mind a colourful derby shoe for the 2022 collaboration, when my daughters were gifted a book called Graaf-Itti by Leon Bullens & Eef Rombaut. And that was it! I got a coup de coeur for "the youngest illustrator from Flanders", You've probably noticed that I am always out there looking for new talents to express their creativity on the Kinamania iconic shoes.

And I do believe that young people are the driving force for positive change in our societies, which is why I think it is important to provide them with a platform for expression. It goes without saying that creativity and personality development go hand in hand. This is why it was only natural - and exciting! - for me to collaborate with Leon.

We really inspired each other : the result is a cheerful and inspiring shoe - called THE TYLER - to craft your everyday! If you're wondering why we called it THE TYLER : it is because the shoe derives its name from Tyler, The Creator, the American rapper who is not afraid to push the limits.
